Benjamin Sieters joined Starfish Innovations in April 2019 as Business Developer. After his MSc in Biomedical Sciences, he worked as R&D communications manager at Danone Nutricia Research and gained entrepreneurial experience as founder of a small IT and marketing company. Benjamin worked for 5 years as Senior Consultant Life Sciences and Biotech at Catalyze Group, securing over 15 million in non-dilutive funding. Since 2019, Benjamin woks as Investment manager at Essential Investments, realising early phase private equity investments in high-tech startups. In addition to this, he is project manager and funding advisor at NECSTGEN, a newly established GMP facility for cell and gene therapies.
